Ngā Manu Groups

Our school is split into four Ngā manu Groups (house groups).

These groups are mixed vertically so that students of all ages are in a group together as an extended whānau. Siblings are always put together in the same group, to add to the sense of whānau. Four of our senior students are voted for, by their peers, to be the Ngā Manu Group leaders. This role carries much mana. The student leaders' job is to support the teacher who leads their group, and encourage their peers to participate in all activities. They also lead fortnightly Assemblies for the whole school.
